Blind is the Eye that sees sin and error,
For the Sun does not find darkness wherever it looks (Iqbal)
A poem that is as beautiful as a rainbow with all colors and emotions of life. Each line of this poem is a prism and each line of this poem is commendable and merits a praise. Anso, Barish and Khawab the symbols just do not remain symbols but come alive and paints a beautiful and albsolutely stunning imagery of hijer and wisal, the love and beloved.
hmmm....though I am not poet...but I have little understanding how writing poetry could be difficult...specially...nowadays....May be some day I will ask you to write something for me too....Dear Urooj....both of your friends are lucky...Nice post.
sir Akhtar, thank you for liking the post, and giving a beautiful commentary on the poem.
Thinking, thank you for reading and liking the post. It will be a pleasure for me to write something for you some day if I could. And I can't say that either both of my friends are lucky or not, but yes I can say with certainty that I am very fortunate to have such friends with me.
Loved this poetry.. Each verse is emitting a light of hope.Urooj your beloved friends are blessed to have you! Your soul is brightening their souls and you all are sharing an everlasting bond of love, truthfulness and selflessness.
"Nayi daastanon ki aik kitab baqi hai"Thinking is right! Those friends are very lucky :DBTW, you wrote this in how many minutes/hours/days?
Komal, thanks for coming and sharing your views about Me and my FRIENDS.
rIZ, thank you for coming.I wrote this poem at the day of Alast in just one moment:D
:OAmmmmazing!Do you know some magic spell or what?
Yes, I know a magic spell and that I use to use sometimes. But why are you asking about that?
UM was he (rIZ) not present on the day of Alast?
ohoooooo! Pol khol dya! :sYup i was there...I know that urooj wrote it in under seconds, but wanted blog readers to know about it too :DI was like ":O" that day... totally stunned! I mean how anyone can write something "new" like that!It seemed like she has remembered the poem by heart and was just copying it on paper. But this wasn't the case."Asha'ar utar rahe the bhaeee!" :DEnough said!
AWD, yes he(rIZ) was there on the day of Alast but actually he was wearing glasses and was looking through the glass, so he might have missed this :)
rIZ, when we have written something on our heart on the day of Alast, then we don't need to learn or remember it by heart. It is just like that every time you will hold the pen, you will look something that inspires you or feel something, the words that are written on your heart will come into existence and transfer over a paper.
i dont know why but i felt as if i have read this poem couple of times in the past though i havent ever come acrossit...it sounded so familiar to me....may be it is just a translation of my feelings....i felt so connected....a very beautiful and well-written piece of art
t, thanks for reading and liking, and I am surprised on what you felt about the poem. Sometimes, many of us do feel certain things with same intensity but do express it in different ways, but found sometimes the familiarity on reading. This happens my dear, thanks again for liking the poem.
pleasure is all mine and m really waiting for more poems written by you :)
